not because of the fact that I always admired 3.1 from afar; not because of the fact that I spent my year living in NYC working at 3.1 – (and working alongside Phillip himself a few times); and not because the best of my wardrobe is comprised of mostly 3.1 garb; but simply because P.L. is not about the "It" factor, but instead the "what is that you're wearing, and where'd you get that?" factor that makes him so much above the rest. timelessness over timed trends, i say.

on the front page of revolveclothing.com at the moment. a 12-hour day playing dress-up in the sandy beaches of malibu had to be one of the best shoots i've been on. we were lucky to have such beautiful weather, an endless plethora of snacks, amazing clothes to shoot, and a beyond gorgeous model from kazakhstan!

these past few weeks have been filled with fun activities: working, baking, decorating, and shopping (for gifts, of course)...and a little bit of indulgence. 'tis the season right?
this time of the year always brings very optimistic thoughts for what may happen in the new year to come. if 2011 is any indication of what 2012 may be like, i am in for one hell of a year.
